I loved this book! It is informative and gives a positive example for others struggling to rekindle their marriage after such trauma. Moving and very powerful emotionally. The insights and honesty offered are right on the money and extremely well articulated. There can be no greater goal than rebuilding a marriage to the benefit of both spouses and the family. – Bettina Gregory, Psy. D, Host of American Life Television’s “American Family”
Passionate Life Seminars with Affair Recovery Specialists Brian and Anne Bercht
Passionate Life Seminars www.beyondaffairs.com offers more than one hundred free articles, and audio seminars covering every aspect of affair recovery at no charge. Passionate Life Seminars also runs the Healing from Affairs seminar for couples, the Take Your Life Back seminar for betrayed women, and the Man of Honor weekend (mostly attended by men who’ve had affairs in the past, and now wish to add accountability and personal growth to their lives so they can make sure they live faithfully forward).
We help women heal from infidelity through confidential, one-to-one, telephone peer counseling.
Our executive director Laura Steuer will share her personal story of recovery and provide a context to support your own healing.
We are the only nonprofit in the U.S. and Canada that does what we do. Our trained volunteer peer counselors are women who have themselves survived infidelity, and they support each client in her personal recovery from this trauma whether her relationship ends or mends.
Through our peer counseling services, each and every one of our clients becomes strengthened to cope with the emotional rollercoaster of betrayal; empowered to manage the ending or mending of her marriage/relationship; and transformed into a powerful role model for her family and friends
THE (IN)FIDELITY FACTOR: Points to Ponder
Before You Cheat.
Congratulations and Much Success on Your First Annual Infidelity SPeaKS Awareness Day in Washington, D.C.
Surviving infidelity means switching your focus back to you! Whether you choose to stay and work on the relationship or leave it, your approach should be focusing on staying true to yourself. Surviving infidelity is a different process for every person. But no relationship is worth compromising your hopes, plans, and dreams in order to please another person. While we all must sacrifice from time to time in a relationship, none of us should lose ourselves within a relationship - or later while surviving infidelity and regrouping.
